Lets get Planning

Start with confirming that you meet all eligibility requirements to run, then carefully review the ward boundaries to understand exactly which voters you’ll be representing. Research the results of the last election to identify turnout patterns, vote splits, and potential opportunities, and use that information to estimate your likely spending limit. From there, draft three to five clear campaign priorities that will anchor your messaging, secure 10–20 early supporters who can help build momentum, reserve your campaign domain name and social media handles, meet with a campaign print advisor to discuss signage and materials, and finally draft a rough working budget to guide your fundraising and spending decisions.
